Administration and Human Resources are pleased to announce the implementation of a new onboarding experience for new hires to align with our organizational strategy of TEAM and the Total Patient Experience philosophy. We have redesigned orientation to include in-depth customer service training plus a rebranded new hire orientation presented as the "New Employee Experience". It is our hope that the new on-boarding experience provides an excellent start to the "New Employee Experience" where every employee feels valued and this then carries over to the patient experience as employees begin their new role at Salina Regional Health Center.
Additionally, we have reduced orientation from 2 days to 1 day, leading to an emphasis on quality time spent in orientation and a quicker path to their departments. We are pleased to share the "New Employee Experience" and an introduction to the new "SRHC Total Patient Experience Way" theme. This training, which began in January, is receiving excellent reviews from new staff. Read more to see what the "New Employee Experience" is all about!
